Message From Founder Keith Davis
Welcome to the Golden Pear Café’s
website. I hope that you will visit one of our cafés soon
and experience what we consider the ultimate Hamptons culinary experience—casual,
comfortable, yet you’re always assured of the very highest
quality in food and beverages.
For
almost twenty years I’ve been working hard to make the Golden
Pear the place for breakfast, lunch, brunch, snacks, and picnic
and party fare. Over the years, with the help of a wonderful team
of employees, the Golden Pear has grown to four locations, each
perfectly situated on the Main Streets of Southampton, Bridgehampton,
East Hampton and Sag Harbor.
We
sweat every detail—from our freshly ground, perfectly brewed
signature coffees to our hearty soups and mouthwatering sandwiches,
to our elegant party platters. I’m proud to say we’ve
earned our reputation for consistently excellent food and friendly
service, seven days a week.
We
start with the finest ingredients available and prepare our menu
offerings fresh every day. There’s no compromising on quality;
you have my personal guarantee! Our bakers are up before dawn daily
to create our delectable pastries, cookies and loafcakes. If you’re
in a hurry, grab a Cranberry Walnut Muffin and a cup of fresh, hot
coffee to go. Or if you have more time, try one of our satisfying
breakfasts. (Think our Ultimate Breakfast Burritos; or Organic Yogurt
with Banana, Berries and Maple Granola; or maybe Scrambled Eggs
and Cheddar Cheese on Croissants). Or sample one of our luscious
lunches. (I often go for our Golden Pear Gazpacho or Grilled Chicken,
Jack Cheese, Caramelized Onion and Chipotle Dressing Panini. One
of our regular customers actually proposed over our Roast Turkey,
Brie with Herbs and Honey Mustard on French Bread—and insists
the lady said yes because of his good taste in sandwiches!) All
our food is based on our own original recipes, and some items have
been on our menu since opening day back in 1987!

(It’s not so busy, and frankly, the tables are easier to come
